Sadly we do not have any nesting birds, but did have an earwig venture in the other day!  Our children are enjoying watching the live streaming from the other schools and have had fun doing the activities from the two activity day.  Some children are still making birds nests on the field and in the woodland walk at playtimes.

Hello Rose Green, well done for all your efforts. Not all the birdboxes have a nest in, but I am glad that you are making the most of seeing the other nests. Now, Earwigs are very interesting creatures. Did you know that the adult earwigs actually look after the eggs and youngsters! Normally insects lay their eggs and then just wander off! You might want to find out why they are called Earwigs – it s a very bad name for such a special insect!
