Eeek! Jack and Eadie have just checked in on the nest for the evening and it would appear there may be a very unwelcome visitor in there!…. looks like it could be hornet maybe? X

Very excited to see one of the parent birds come and feed the babies this morning. We still can’t see them but we can certainly hear them now! Summer Hedgehogs and family

Good morning Riverview!

So, there are definitely chicks in there! Their chirping gets louder each time the mummy returns. Hopefully as they grow we will be able to see more of them in the hole in the nest.

It’s so good to watch and hear them-they alert me to the laptop every time the sparrow returns with the noise they make.

Let us know who’s watching today… Don’t forget to use your Riverview login to leave messages on here-we love to see who’s keeping track of our sparrow!

Happy twitching Riverview!

We’ve just heard some chirping too (Eadie was very excited!) – that’s a very snuggly looking nest, hoping they’ll manage to poke their heads up out of it soon! We can also hear children playing nearby! X

Good morning everyone!! We now have sound! Can you hear a tiny chirping? Is it coming from inside the box or is it from the birds outside? My son thinks its a baby bird hidden underneath the nest. And what do you think the smooth shape is at the top left of the screen? Is it an egg? We’re not sure. Let me know what you think! Love, Mrs Baillie
