Although we have not got any birds nesting in our bird box, we did have some chick eggs which have hatched in class. Our chicks got really big. We have enjoyed watching other schools bird boxes.
Today Reception took some more bird food and nesting material to try and encourage some birds to our box … we are crossing all our fingers that we get some visitors to our box. We are lucky enough to have some chick eggs in class, one of which has made the first crack in the egg… fingers crossed that by the end of the day we get to see our first baby chick!
Is this new nesting material in the box Wainscott?
Our bird box is up and ready … fingers crossed we get to see some action inside it soon!
